Pray: For the teachers and students each day.
Volunteer: Your time is priceless to the success of BVAS. Look over the list of volunteer jobs and choose the one that suits your talents and abilities. Fill out a volunteer screening form that you can pick up in the school office.
Recycle: Computer cartridges, cell phones for cash, by turning them in to the box located in the school foyer.
Save your Campbell’s food labels: They earn points that can be used on books, equipment or many other items.
Save Boxtops for Education: Labels are worth 10 cents. The money is used for educational supplies.
Like to shop online? Go to http://www.boxtops4education.com. There are 200+ stores to choose from. You can identify the school you would like to help and a percentage of your order will go to the school.
Magazine subscriptions: Looking for a great gift idea or need to renew your magazine subscription? Visit http://www.qsp.com. Under “SHOP Now”, provide our school ID of 425010273, and the school will receive 40% of the cost of your order.
Spring Dinner and Silent Auction: Plan to attend our annual Dinner and Auction. In Spring 2008, the dinner/auction brought in over $18,000 for our school budget. The evening is tons of fun and a great way to get to know other parents.
Albertsons Community Partner Cards: With your Preferred Savings Card account, sign up on the Albertsons website http://www.albertsons.com/cp/ with the BVAS Community Partners ID#: 49000103025. This is a great, FREE resource for our school to receive additional funding if you shop with a Preferred Card at Albertsons.
