Support the 7th and 8th Grade with Scrip!

Every year the 7th and 8th graders make plans for an educational or mission class trip in the spring.  This year's goal is Washington, DC.  Fundraising is an integral part of making this trip happen.  We are excited to offer SCRIP as our fundraising tool.

SCRIP is substitute money.  With scrip fundraising, families simply do their regular weekly shopping with gift cards from many local retailers.  With each purchase, the 7th and 8th graders earn cash rebates that can quickly add up.  Scrip is a powerful fundraising tool because you generate revenue through purchases you would make anyway.

Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with scrip.  An organization of 75 families easily spends up to one million dollars per year on food, clothing and other essentials.  If these families use scrip for their purchases, at no additional cost to them, they can raise as much as $20,000 to $40,000 per year for their organization -- without spending an additional penny.

The class is asking for your help to make their yearly trip a reality.  We will have a table set up every Friday at 2pm after school.  For more information, please contact the school at 376-7141 or Jeffrey Blackman at 870-2640.
